The United Arab Emirates is hot and humid throughout the year. In summer, temperatures often soar well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37C), making any outdoor activity a virtual chore. The best time to visit the UAE is from November through February, when daytime temperatures are in the 70s and 80s (21C-30C), and nights are pleasantly cool. During Ramadan, the 40-day fasting period that precedes Eid Al Fitr, most tourist establishments shut down, and many people refrain from conducting business. As such, it is best to visit the nation at a time other than Ramadan.
