The United Arab Emirates is hot and humid throughout the year. In summer, temperatures often soar well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37C), making any outdoor activity a virtual chore. The best time to visit the UAE is from November through February, when daytime temperatures are in the 70s and 80s (21C-30C), and nights are pleasantly cool.

The climate in Jordan is quite varied. The north of the country is hilly, and in Amman and Jerash you will encounter a climate similar to that of southern Europe, with warm to hot summers and cold winters (as low as 4°- 6°C during the day, with occasional snow).
