Seychelles - When to Go

The best time to visit Seychelles is September to October; November to February may be too wet and March and April too hot and humid. Seychelles's busiest tourist season, however, is during the Christmas and Easter breaks and in July and August. (The seas are particularly rough during July and August, making certain beaches too dangerous for swimming and boat trips unpleasant.) June and November are the "low seasons."

Diving enthusiasts will find October and November the best time to engage in Seychelles's underwater activities. This period coincides with the Subios Diving Festival, an event that includes organized dives, talks, and slide shows hosted by internationally renowned divers. March, April, May, and September are also fine for diving.
