The 8th World wide monument… maybe!

Ok… it may be just a little pretentious  to give out such a big statement, but could the Tate Modern become the 8th most famous building in the world?
The project in fact is to extend the museum of another 6000 square metres… mmm… I wouldn’t mind the same done to my own house, actually!!
And just to stick to tradition, the building project has been handed over to the father of the first bricks, the inimitable Herzog and De Meuron. And as it often happens, the British Government wants to see things moving fast and the scenery must be different before the beginning of the Olympic Games in 2012. The solution has been to anticipate a wopping 50 million, but hold on tight because the total cost will be 215 million!!
Yep… I think that’s enough to re-design London’s skyline alright…
