Summer in Vilnius

Temperatures, skirts, sleeves, awnings and spirits have all been recently raised, making this a wonderful time to be in Vilnius. Not only is exploring the craquelure-maze of Old Town streets a great pleasure in summer, but it’s also a great time to discover that Vilnius is a very green city, with some lovely parks and gardens.

(Spring) The beginning of spring is considered the period when the day’s average temperature rises and remains above 0oC. When the snow is starting to melt, when the rivers are breaking free after long months of confinement under the thick layer of ice, the nature is awaking. In the southern part of Latvia the arrival of spring is observed around March 20. Gradually it advances upwards.

Travel in Estonia

People from larger countries may find it odd that there are in fact no distant places in Estonia – one can travel from one end of the country to another in just four or five hours without having to rush. And yet Estonia is larger on the inside than on the outside, the “secret” well known and shared by the locals.

Minsk Travel Guide

Minsk is as mad as a sack of bent hammers. And so are you for wanting to go there, so you’re bound to have a great time. The place can be a bit like a creepy clown – pleasing one moment, pathetic another, but always somehow a bit spooky and un-nerving. At times you won’t be sure whether you should laugh or run away. You’ll probably do both.
